Sorry
I am sorry that I have not been posting a lot lately. I have just been really busy and upset about the loss to Syracuse. This shouldn't be an issue in the future.

Marquette vs Davidson Almost An Upset
Honestly I don't think this game would have been as close as it was if Buzz Williams would have had a better rotation going. Trent Lockett did not play defense at all and had many of Marquette's turnovers. Buzz, I think you would have been better off playing Steve Taylor Jr. over Trent. I understand that he is a senior and you want to get him in, but like you said at senior night he is not the best player on the team.(P.S. I don't even think he deserves a starting spot)
Another guy that could have had less playing time was Chris Otule. He was playing really slow defense on #15 from Davidson and he allowed him to score on easy layups under the basket. He was also not crashing the boards. You could have easily subbed in Devante Gardner in for him. He would have played lock down defense and would have converted some and ones and drawn many fouls where he would have gone all automatic at the free throw line.
I hope there will be a better rotation against Butler because if we don't it is a lost cause.

My Marquette March Madness Prediction
Although many of you may disagree I think that Marquette will make it all the way to the Elite 8 in the NCAA tourney and in this post I will be showing the steps on how we are going to get there.
Round 1: We will most likely not have a problem with Davidson. We just need to come out and play our hardest. We can't come out of the gates slow like we did in Green Bay earlier in the season. I think Marquette should pick up the win in this one.
Round 2: I don't think Butler should have a problem with Bucknell so I think we will be playing Butler in the second round. This will not be an easy game, but I think we are just a better team than Butler. It will come right down to the wire, but I see Marquette taking the win there.
Sweet Sixteen: Assuming that Miami and Illinois win both of their first games (which they should), I think that Illinois will upset Miami in a 51-48 win. This will send Illinois to the Sweet Sixteen to play Marquette. Once again I do not think this will be an easy game, but once again we are the better team and I don't see it being to close of a game, so I think Marquette will take the win by at least 10.
Elite 8: I think Indiana will win their first three games and play us in the Elite 8. This will not be a very pretty game and I just see them taking this one. From there on I have Indiana going to the championship and losing to Duke.

Marquette Beats Syracuse
Last night Marquette (22) and Syracuse (12) faced off in a Big East show down. Marquette started off slow right away in the first half, but were able to cut the lead to 4 at half. In the second half Marquette excelled and ended up on top 74-71. It was a big game for Devante Gardner getting his career high in scoring, 26 points. Todd Mayo also was a big help draining 2 long range 3's in a row to tie the game. Marquette will have to get some rest because they have another big game on Saturday against Notre Dame.

Marquette vs Syracuse
Tonight at 6:00 PM CT, Marquette (22) goes up against Syracuse (12) at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. This may be a tough game for the Golden Eagles, but I believe that Marquette can beat the Orange. They just lost to Villanova and I am sure that they are hungry for a win. Go Marquette!!!

Marquette vs USF
Marquette played USF Monday at The BMO Harris Bradley Center. They pulled out a win, but had many downturns in the game.First of all, they couldn't maintain a lead in the first half. And lastly one of there best big men, Devante Gardner, got a flagrant two foul and was ejected from the game. I personally think the player faked getting elbowed in the face. Just by watching a replay you can easily see that Devante's elbow was at least three inches away from his face. Devante doesn't face a suspention or anything like that so he will be ready to play next game.

Bat at The Bradley Center
During Saturdays game against Providence, a bat was spotted flying around the jumbo-tron at the Bradley Center. It dived down at the players a few times and caused a delay in the game. They shut the lights out for a bit and played some music and the bat wasn't seen again until yesterday afternoon.A Bradley Center staff member spotted it lounging around in the lobby and threw his jacket over it. The bat was released unharmed. That bat has made itself famous all around the country.
